Never tried synthetic curly hair but it looks very plastic. A bit less so when you brush it out but yeah. The lace isn’t preplucked at all and it’s hard to melt. Not beginner friendly. Don’t recommend tbh. It’ll probably last like 3 weeks

I loooove the Butta Lace Unit 5. Ladies. When I first moved out years ago, my Mama gave me 2 of these wigs among others because she new I wanted to take a break from braids. Y’all I have them away. However I knew this month I’d be wearing or trying to wear wigs. I stumbled across this site and the Butta lace unit 5 was on of the first I added or my cart. My Mama was right. This wig looks so good on me. I got colorways #2, Flamboyage mocha, and Flamboyage chocolate. You can see them here. The last photo is me wearing color number 2 after I cut it and put it in a ponytail. I’m coming back for more soon. I bought the wigs in March of 2024, but all photos are from 4/27/24 to 5/5/24. I’ll submit more photos with my other reviews if they allow me to. I really think they need to go ahead and turn the Butta Lace unit 5 into a 13X6 wig at this point.

I’ve ordered this wig for years from Amazon and Sam’s Beauty and have never had a problem until now. There’s usually a healthy sheen(not wig like)and the curls have never frizzed up immediately out of the package like they did this time. I finger-combed and shook it out like I normally would and it’s just frizzy and not cute. This used to be one of my favorite wigs but I won’t order it from this site ever again.
